The spirit of a hula dancer is unique.

Experience the beautiful cultures of Hawai'i and Tahiti through dance. We offer hula, tahitian, & drumming classes for all ages.

  • Practice Schedule

    SUNDAY: Tahitian Dance
    Tamari'i: 4pm-5pm
    For ages 11 and under. Students will learn basic Tahitian dance steps and choreography to an aparima.
    Tiare: 5pm-7pm
    For pre-teens & teenagers. The first hour of class will consist of o'tea and aparima choreography. Basics are done during the second hour of class with the Vahine class. Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to stay for the Vahine class.
    Vahine: 6
    pm-8pm
    For ages 16 and up. Students will learn basic Tahitian dance steps as well as choreography for aparima and ahuroa.


    Monday:
    Competition Class
    6:30pm-8:30pm
    This class is to help prepare students for annual competitions which include hula & tahitian competitions. Audition or instructor invite is required for participation in this class


    Wednesday: Performance Group
    6:30pm-8:00pm
    Students will learn choreography for upcoming performances. This class will also be invited to participate in annual workshops. Audition or instructor invite is required for participation in this class.


    Thursday: Wahine B
     
    7pm-8:30pm

    This is a beginners hula and tahitian class. Students will learn basic dance steps for both styles as well as a Hawaiian mele. You must participate in this class before you can move to any other class.


    Saturday: Hula
     
    Wahine: 8am-9:30am
    For students ages 13+. Students will learn hula basics and choreography at an int/adv level. Audition or instructor invite is required for this class
    Keiki: 9:30am-10:30am
    For children 12 and under. This class is designed for children of all dance levels. Students will learn hula basics and choreography to a Hawaiian mele.

    NEW CLASSES

    Starting in the Fall...

    *Drumming- Open to all ages. For anyone interested in learning the beautiful art of Tahitian drumming

    *Kane- Real men dance Hula. This class is for any male interested in dancing.

             *Makua Wahine- Hula for woman ages 40+
